BCMS proven Suspension + Braking system

Originally designed by BEV's counterpart, Bearcat Motor Sports, our suspension and braking system is great, allowing a 49.49/50.51% Front/Rear Roll Distribution with a 10% Anti-Dive.

Rear Wheel Drive w/ chain driven differential

Located in the back of the car using custom mounts, our differential is a Taylor Race Single Drive Differential that provides a 4:1 Torque Bias while only weighing 8.572 pounds. This allows us to efficiently distribute different torques to wheels, providing for a smooth turn.

LG 18650 cell based battery pack w/ Orion BMS 2.0

The Accumulator is a 3 segment, 504 cell battery pack with a maximum/nominal voltage of just over 350/300V to expend throughout the endurance and acceleration tests of the competition. Additionally, a 108 Cell Configuration Battery Management System is used that ensures proper battery operational conditions and calculates & reports secondary data of our rechargeable battery cells.

Emrax 228 MV Motor with Rinehart Controller PM100DZ

The Motor is a 3 phase, brushless, liquid cooled, 230nm torque-capable, AC Motor that generates enough torque to accurately propel the car while interfacing with a AC Induction Motor Controller that controls the Motor with immense precision.

Electronic Communication System using Teensy 4.1

Our electronic to mechanical integration design is a Teensy Based Communication System for all of our Printed Circuit Boards that control the Brake System Plausibility Device, the Startup & Shutdown Sequences, and the Battery Cell Temperature Data Collection Process.
